“The light with the time inside” (La luz con el tiempo dentro) is a documentary written and directed by Luis Gómez Juanes, and produced by IMDEA Nanociencia Institute with funding from the ERC-Synergy project ‘TomATTO’.

The documentary explores the aims of this ambitious project, which seeks to capture how electrons move within molecules after being struck by beams of light. On a journey connecting Milan and Madrid, we will step into the laboratories where, for the first time in history, this phenomenon is revealed in extreme slow motion: the attosecond. 

TOMATTO project, the ultimate Time scale in Organic Molecular opto-electronics, the ATTOsecond, aims to capture ultrafast electron dynamics to enhance solar energy conversion efficiency. The project receives funding from the European Research Council (ERC) under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme (grant agreement No 951224).
